Technical organisation

Please order waste disposal via the exhibitor service portal. To do this, click on ‘Service orders’. The ‘Stand cleaning/waste disposal’ tile can be found under the ‘Technical orders’ heading.

There are no parking permits for exhibitors. Parking is free of charge. Please note: first come, first served.

Your booking includes the area itself as well as the appropriate number of multi-day tickets for exhibitors and the media entry. Please additionally place service orders for, e.g. electricity, tents, furniture, etc. via the exhibitor service portal.

Exhibitor service (invoices + service orders)

  • Each stand comes with free multi-day tickets for stand personnel. These are made available to you automatically in the ticket service centre when no further invoices are outstanding.
  • Additional multi-day tickets are subject to a charge and must be ordered in the exhibitor service portal. The tickets will then be made available to you in the ticket service centre.
  • The registration links located there can be forwarded directly to your stand personnel by e-mail. You can also download an Excel file containing links and then forward each link by e-mail.
  • Each ticket user must register personally. Each e-mail address can only be used for one multi-day ticket.
  • After successful registration, the ticket holder receives the ticket as a PDF or mobile ticket for the smartphone wallet.

Chargeable admission tickets for stand personnel that have been ordered but not used will not be reimbursed.

Free multi-day tickets for stand personnel are provided based on the stand area you have rented. These will be made available to you automatically in the ticket service centre when no further invoices are outstanding:

  • Up to a total area of 10 m², each exhibiting company is entitled to two free multi-day tickets.
  • As of 11 m² up to a total area of 300 m², you will additionally receive one free multi-day ticket for every 10 m² of hired stand area or part thereof.
  • For stand areas in excess of 300 m², you will additionally receive one free multi-day ticket for every 20 m² or part thereof.

Additional multi-day tickets are subject to a charge.

  • You will be provided with two free multi-day tickets.

Yes. In order to enable specific contact tracking in suspected cases, visitors and exhibitors (as well as their service providers) will initially be recorded digitally at the entrances to the grounds throughout the entire event period. Prior registration is obligatory.

Due to a lack of demand, only multi-day tickets are available for stand personnel at PotatoEurope. We recommend visitor vouchers for persons who are only on the stand for one day. Please note that they can only be used to enter the grounds as of 9.00 a.m.

All service orders, e.g. for electricity or water, etc., that are offered directly by DLG Service GmbH will be invoiced following the event. Services from external providers, e.g. for stand cleaning by Helms Reinigungswerk, will be invoiced directly by the provider. Contact persons for any queries can be found in the ESP under the respective service order with their telephone number and e-mail address.

You can book system construction and tent construction offers with and without standard equipment in the exhibitor service portal under the heading ‘Tents and stand construction/additional equipment’. Invoicing will be carried out directly via DLG International prior to the trade fair.

Trade fair and exhibition logistics

Temporary access by delivery services and catering companies is also possible during the exhibition period subject to the payment of a deposit. The deposit will be refunded on exiting the grounds in good time. Exhibitors may also use the deposit regulation for one hour at a time, but only before (7.00 to 8.30 a.m.) and after the visiting times (6.30 to 8.00 p.m.).

Driving into the exhibition grounds before and after the event is permitted. However, the organiser is entitled to restrict and also prohibit access at any time if navigability is insufficient. During the exhibition, the exhibition grounds may only be entered with access authorisation.

A security service that will undertake patrols has been commissioned to secure the grounds during set-up and dismantling as well as during the exhibition. However, stand security can only be achieved by using stand security guards.

Delivery and unloading on site will be coordinated by the official trade fair logistics provider.

Ticketing

You can access the ticket service centre (button) in the exhibitor service portal (under ‘Invite visitors’). Starting this year, you can order your visitor vouchers there and also send them directly.

No. You only pay for tickets that are actually used. This is why you will only receive an invoice from us after the trade fair, and we will even provide you with the first 10 e-vouchers free of charge.

Directly after ordering, you can send e-vouchers to your customers and partners by e-mail via the TSC. Instructions can be found in the exhibitor service portal.

The e-vouchers are available to you immediately after completing your order in the TSC. You can send them directly as part of an e-mail campaign. The paper vouchers will be sent to you by post. You will receive them within 5 - 10 working days (accordingly longer abroad).

Catering

  • Yes, you are permitted to offer free food and drinks at your stand. When doing so, please comply with the respectively valid version of the German food hygiene regulations and the drink dispensing system regulations.
  • The latest version of the German ordinance for protection against new infections with the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (Coronaschutzverordnung – CoronaSchVO ) applies to catering and tasting at the stand. Section 14 Catering particularly applies in this regard.
  • Please additionally note that drink dispensing systems are subject to mandatory approval.

No. However, we recommend engaging a professional caterer. The caterer is obliged to adhere to all hygiene regulations.

You are permitted to offer drinks in disposable or returnable containers. When using returnable containers (glasses, cups, etc.), please always observe the respectively valid version of the German food hygiene regulations and the drink dispensing system regulations.

  • Yes. However, we recommend that foodstuffs only be issued in packaged form; sugar, salt, pepper and sauces, etc. must also be packaged in portions.
  • Uncovered food must be protected with a transparent cover or the like as a spit guard to prevent it from being touched, sneezed on or coughed on.
  • When doing this, please comply with the respectively valid version of the German food hygiene regulations and the drink dispensing system regulations.

Washbasins with hot water must be equipped with soap dispensers and disinfectant dispensers, and may not be used for washing cutlery, crockery or kitchen/stand cleaning utensils. A notice stating 'Not for crockery or cutlery!' must be affixed in a clearly visible position above all washbasins.

Machinery demonstrations

All participating exhibitors have received comprehensive information concerning ‘their’ topics including the course design.

Participation in the driving licence check and safety briefing. Dates to follow.

  • No. At the location, you can access the available mobile phone network with your end device. Vodafone will be boosting the network at the site. 
  • If you would like to additionally hire a router, please contact the provider’s (e.g. Vodafone’s) sales department directly.
